Millennials get a bad rap.  We’ve been branded as the lazy, narcissistic generation that has no desire to settle down, get married, pop out babies, or work.  Considering we span from the early 1980’s to early 2000’s though and maternity floors are still bustling, the global wedding industry is valued at a booming $300 billion, and Canada alone has $21 billion outstanding in student loan debt accumulated in hopes of a successful career – I think it’s safe to say – we don’t all fit into this mold.  This blog is for those of us from the millennial generation who are trying to raise a family in this financial mess created by generations before us. We write from the experience of raising our family of two millennial parents and two young kids (and our little furbaby not to be forgotten).

Our financial world is COMPLETELY different from our parents’ and grandparents’ so we need to stop taking their financial advice.  Let’s put some of this amazing technology we’ve been raised on to work for us!

We cover budgeting, apps, money saving tips and hacks, test driving methods of money handling, reviews of all of the above.  Lets try to make managing money as fun as spending it is!
